Understanding of the trade practices in the country


  • Our experience has shown us, that not always is strategy executable without a deep insight into the prevailing local practices.
  • Our client is a major durable player in the country who is keen to enter the mobile business. Our task included a SWOT analysis of major players and prevailing trade practices, customer exchange practices and tracking the ownership of the mobile over its life cycle. Arising out of this understanding of trade practices, we were able to device a positioning and entry strategy for our client.
  • Our client is a major industrial conglomerate with a downstream presence in the commodity food business. Our task was to identify a strategy for moving up the value chain and identifying the appropriate channel and geographical spread that the client should adopt.
  • Our client is a major player in the sanitaryware business,recently acquired by a global player. The brand now needs to be experienced by a large cross section of customers. By engaging with a major IPL club in a licensing arrangement, we are in a position to "create" an experience center at the venue that brings customers to our doorstep during the IPL.
